A question for the group.
A staff member informed me of some below the line behaviour from one of my team members. This was a very minor thing and I told her I would be happy to discuss this with my team member. She then asked me not to let him know that she had told me.
So the problem is I either discuss this and break her confidence because he will work out who told me or let it continue.
I am thinking I might wait a month or so and then have a general discussion with the team about this issue.
To add context the issue is that the Staff member informed my team member that a problem that was meant to be repaired was still not OK. His response was that she would need to contact me about it. I am unhappy with this because we should not be further inconveniencing our customers and we should be able to communicate amongst ourselves once a message is recieved.
Thanks.
